Savings Account

For a low minimum balance, our savings account lets you earn interest on your balances.

  • Savings accounts may be opened with a deposit of $100.
  • If the minimum balance requirement of $300 is met, there is no service charge. Otherwise, a quarterly service charge of $9 applies.
  • The accountholder is entitled to request a VISA® Check Card (as long as the account holder has a checking account as the Card's primary account).
Tiered Money Market Account — The ‘MoneyMaker’

Pays you a higher interest rate for higher balances, and offers limited check writing privileges.

  • Account may be opened with a deposit of $100 or more.
  • If the minimum daily balance requirement of $2,500 is met, there is no service charge. Otherwise, a $35 monthly service charge applies.
  • This account is a tiered-rate account. The following are the tier level balances:
  • $0.01 - $9,999.99
  • $10,000.00 - $24,999.99
  • $25,000.00 - $49,999.99
  • $50,000.00 - $99,999.99
  • $100,000.00 - $499,999.99
  • $500,000.00 - $999,999.99
  • $1,000,000+
  • The accountholder is entitled to request a VISA® Check Card (as long as the account holder has a checking account as the Card's primary account).
Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of Deposit offer a reliable way to grow your savings and/or retirement funds with a fixed, guaranteed rate of return and a variety of terms to fit your needs. We offer a variety of terms for our Certificates of Deposit, ranging from one month to four years. Certificates of Deposit may be opened with a minimum deposit of $1,000 and earn interest on the entire balance.

Individual Retirement Accounts

An IRA with Cal National Bank will help take you into the future safely and securely. We offer a variety of options to accommodate specific types of Individual Retirement Accounts. Account options include our Savings Account, Tiered Money Market Account and Certificates of Deposit. There are no monthly service charges associated with these IRA accounts. We can also assist you with transferring an IRA account from another financial institution.
